This article is excellent, and I like that you compare Elixir with Scala and Clojure. Especially as a Data Engineer, I'm constantly thinking about my next language to master besides Python. I fancied Clojure, but it's somewhat still hard to use for many use cases. I see more functional programming approaches in Python with a framework. I would be inquisitive if your statement of using Scala instead of Elixir still holds true or how you see Elixir for data engineering tasks? Also, Scala got more into a niche as Databricks focuses on Python and SQL mostly. Any thoughts? :)
